USA Patriot Act Disclosure
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law required all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: It is Tri-Pointe Credit Union's policy that anyone we provide service to must present a minimum amount of identifying information. Such information includes, but is not limited to name, address, date of birth (for individuals), and Social Security number. Once provided, steps shall be taken to verify that such information is in fact accurate and valid including, but not limited to, validation from a government issued photo identification.
